RG Alluvial & Hard Rock Washing Plants

JCRD & RDGK Crushing Process Plants

APT's complete range of RG washing plants caters for the processing of various minerals, primarily using gravity recovery methods. These plants are modular with ease of installation, efficient recovery, low energy, low environmental impact and chemical free processes being some of the major advantages.

Designed and tested in the harsh clay soils of Africa, the RG is a robust, low maintenance scrubber. Other scrubbers, designed in Europe and America cannot cope with the high clay content of Africa and South America.

Two ranges of hard rock processing plants i.e. plants were clay and sand are not present and hence washing/scrubbing is not required are available. They are the JCRD and RDGK processing solutions. Gravity recovery and low energy impact crushing are the central processes employed here. APT believes that impact crushers are superior because precious metal bearing material tends to fracture along gold grain boundaries upon impact. These fractures releases the gold from the rest of the rock by this mechanism termed "early liberation". It is this early liberation which leads to the lowest energy requirements of all other process crushing solutions. All the plants have very low commissioning times and are translocatable.

The JCRD crusher-concentrator plants has the option of recovering material at either 3tph or 12tph. At the 3tph level, you have the choice of either using a Knelson or Gold Kacha concentrator. For the larger 12tph plants, a Knelson concentrator is employed.

The RDGK is a 1.5tph plant that combines the RD fine grinder with the Gold Kacha centrifugal mineral concentrator in one convenient modular package.

The concentrate produced by either plant typically requires further upgrade utilising either conventional panning methods or the supplied Gemini upgrade table.
